The year-long design and analysis of this building has been challenging, but it has taught me a lot. I have gained a deeper understanding of the design process and how the different options interact. Through this process I have become more confident in my ability to design structural elements, especially in regards to steel structures. This course, along with other related courses, has helped prepare me for the challenges in the structural design profession.
